He has also been a big force in giving back to the communities that have supported him throughout his career. He has donated his time and music for numerous benefits, including the Gilda Radner Cancer Foundation, programs advocating food for the homeless, and many cancer benefit shows. These experiences have not only influenced him as a person, they have had profound impact on his music.
