    Growing up in the Southside of Phoenix, AZ,  Desert Dweller has been rapping for over 15 years.  
    First influenced by Run DMC's song "My Adidas", Desert Dweller formed his own rap group FBI
    (Funky Beat Investigators)  and began performing at festivals and showcases all throughout the
    Phoenix  /  Scottsdale area.   His first big break came when he was signed to open for   Da Brat's
    Las Vegas concert in 1995.   Continuing developing  his craft and chasing opportunities,  Desert
    Dweller   moved  to  the  Northwest  and  made Seattle, WA   his  home.    Since moving to Seattle,
    Desert  Dweller  has performed at  various local clubs,   and opened for many national acts such
    as  Mystikal,  Keith Murray,  Kurupt,  and Devin The Dude  which  has helped  build  a substantial
    local fan base.    He was also featured on KrunkClan's single "Summerjam" which received local
    airplay on Seattle's #1 hit radio station, KUBE 93.
